A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), also known as a nurse anesthetist, is a mid level provider who administers anesthesia and other medications to patients in various healthcare settings.. Before receiving a graduate education in anesthesia, CRNAs must be licensed registered nurses with critical care nursing experience. Building on this

WHY ANESTHESIA
I was born for this profession. As a young child my love for animals and the elderly led
me on my academic journey, first in the veterinary field and then later into delivering anesthesia
to those who walk on two legs. It is my goal to abolish any pain that is presented to me.
The intensity, teamwork and ability to fix problems within the anesthesia profession is what drives me..
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
I feel strongly about supporting our military service members who sacrifice so much to protect
us. I’m also an enthusiastic backer of children and burn survivor charities. A large part of my
anesthesia practice involves both special populations.
PERSONAL INTEREST
I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and son. I stay physically fit by working out
at home, sailing and roller skating. I enjoy reading the classics and of course, shopping!
I’m an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
